Just back from a week in Mexico City, and I have so much to share!! This will be your ultimate guide if you're planning a trip there.
Seven days, three neighbourhoods, endless cafés, incredible food and drinks, plus the perfect warm weather, exactly what we needed. If you're planning a visit, here's my full recap—including where we stayed, where we ate and drank, and some key travel tips that made the trip easier and more enjoyable.
Where We Stayed:
We booked THIS Airbnb in Condesa, which, to be honest, I thought it was located in Roma Notre. Most recommendations you’ll find online talk about Roma Norte, and for good reason—it’s a beautiful, lively area with amazing restaurants, cafés, and shops.
But I loved staying in Condesa—It still had plenty of great spots within walking distance, and was close to Roma Norte. It was also only a 20-30 minute Uber ride to Polanco, making it a great central location.
The building had amazing amenities, including a pool, which I think is a huge plus—especially if, like me, you grew up near the ocean and start feeling landlocked after a few days. By day six, I was really craving some water time, so having access to a pool made a big difference.
