answering your biggest Body Recomposition questions

Body Recomp 101: launching my self-paced Body Recomp course in April!!

In this episode, I’m diving into some of the most common questions I’ve been getting about my upcoming Self-Paced Body Recomposition Course and general questions about body recomposition. If you’ve been hitting the gym consistently, working hard, eating healthy, but not seeing the muscle definition you want—or if you feel like you’re spinning your wheels with too much cardio and not enough actual progress—this episode is for you.

I know a lot of you have worked with trainers, followed meal plans, tracked macros, or tried different fitness programs before—only to feel like you’re still not getting the results you should be based on the effort you’re putting in.

So, I want to break down exactly how this course is different and how it’s designed to actually help you build muscle and drop body fat in a sustainable way…

Here’s the 5 questions I’m answering in this episode!

1. How is this course different from other programs I’ve tried with trainers or meal plans that didn’t get me the results I wanted?

“Such a good question, because I know so many of you have tried different approaches before and maybe felt like… ‘Okay, I’m doing what I was told to do, but I’m still not seeing the muscle definition I want. What’s missing?’….”

2. Will I need to drastically change my workouts, or can I transition from what I’m currently doing?

“You won’t need to throw everything out and start over from scratch, but for a lot of you, the biggest shift will be in how you structure your training.”

3. How does this course help with nutrition if I’ve been under-eating or not seeing muscle growth?

“This is such a huge piece of the puzzle because I know a lot of you are trying to build muscle while always trying to eat in a deficit, and that’s why you’re not seeing the growth you want.

A lot of women have been conditioned to think they need to be constantly dieting to lose fat. But if you’re always under-eating, your body isn’t going to prioritize muscle growth—it’s just trying to survive. That’s why this course teaches you how to eat for body recomposition, which means:…”

4. I feel like I’ve been working hard but not seeing enough muscle growth, how will this course help me actually build muscle and lose fat at the same time?

“If you’ve been training consistently but don’t feel like your body reflects how much effort you’re putting in, there are usually a few key reasons why:…”

(I highlight the 3 biggest reasons in this episode!)

5. I’ve been doing a lot of circuits and cardio, so how do I shift my training without feeling like I’m doing “less” or losing progress, or just not doing enough?

“I totally get this, because I know a lot of women associate ‘sweating a lot’ or ‘feeling exhausted’ with making progress, but that’s not always the case.

I was stuck in this mindset too, and honestly…where the f*ck did this belief come from, and why is it so pervasive?! Somewhere along the way, we were taught that more movement = better results, when in reality, the goal isn’t just to burn calories, it’s to build muscle, change body composition, and actually look and feel stronger.”

Here’s the truth about exercise and actually seeing results:

• Just because a workout makes you tired doesn’t mean it’s effective for body recomposition.

• Circuits and high-intensity cardio might make you feel like you’re working hard, but if they’re not structured and programmed properly, they’re not helping you build muscle (and could be making it harder to build muscle and manage your appetite).

• Switching to hypertrophy-focused training doesn’t mean you’ll be doing ‘less’—it means you’ll be training smarter.

So, if you’re worried about losing progress, I want you to reframe that. You’re not losing progress—you’re shifting to a method that actually works better for your goals. And the best part? You’ll start feeling stronger, seeing muscle definition, and not feeling like you have to be exhausted all the time to make progress.

I hope this answered some of your biggest questions about the Self-Paced Body Recomposition Course! If you’ve been feeling stuck, frustrated, or like your effort isn’t reflecting in your results, this is going to help you finally bridge that gap.
